Catherine Heffernan Gibson is the Director of Philanthropy at Power to Decide. Catherine brings two decades of fundraising experience working on behalf of social justice and advocacy organizations. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to empowering women, children, and families through access to high-quality education, health care, and voting rights. Catherine has held leadership development roles at a range of nonprofits where she expanded donor engagement, deepened relationships with institutional and individual supporters, and helped grow organizational capacity and philanthropic giving. Her approach to donor relationships is rooted in collaboration—matching donors' passions with mission-critical opportunities that fuel the work ahead.

Catherine holds a BA in Politics and Social Justice & Social Policy from Brandeis University and a JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
