Cheyanda Onuoha, MPH

Cheyanda Onuoha is Power to Decide's Senior Director, Content. In this role she will lead the strategy and development of content across digital platforms to support Power to Decide’s mission of advancing sexual and reproductive well-being for all.

Cheyanda previously served as the Associate Director, UX Research Strategy at Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), where she led the development of research strategy centering community insights in the iteration of digital products. Prior to this, she served as the Associate Director of Learning Engagement & Special Projects at PPFA, where her work focused on the provision of subject matter expertise to sex education-related national communications, content, and digital products, as well as the strategy and development of PPFA’s sex-ed centered videos.

Cheyanda earned her BS in Human Development and Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. Outside of work, she prioritizes rest and joy, filling her cup as a self-described foodie, avid cinephile, lover of hiking, and Radical Monarchs troop leader in Brooklyn, NY.
