I have the power to decide when to listen and when to speak up.
As the Media Relations Director, Paloma Zuleta is proud to play a role in Power to Decide’s effort to make sure that access to birth control remains a basic part of health care for all. As a woman of color, being part of this effort fulfills Paloma’s sense that she is working towards equality for all. As a mother, she is filled with hope that her girls will have the same benefits to help them decide if, when and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child.
Prior to working at Power to Decide, Paloma worked at the League of United Latino American Citizens, where she served for the past 6 years as the Director of Communications. She has also served as the Director of Strategic Alliances at DCI Group and worked at the Campaign for High School Equity as well as serving as the Legislative Assistant/Acting Communications Director for Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson.
