Power to Decide Applauds Reintroduction of the Abortion Care Awareness Act

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — Yesterday, Representatives Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Dan Goldman (D-NY) announced the introduction of the Abortion Care Awareness Act. The bill would require the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to run a coordinated national public health education, awareness and outreach campaign to provide accurate information regarding where and how to access abortion care.

For many, the inability to access information about what services are available, what resources they can seek and what legalities they may have to encounter push abortion care completely out of reach.
