In this Politico article, CEO and practicing OB-GYN, Dr. Raegan McDonald-Mosley, speaks to the implications and danger of such information and guidelines not being available anymore for providers and pharmacists. In areas where pharmacists often serve as primary health care providers, this could severely limit their ability to serve patients.

Earlier this month Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Suzanne Bonamici reintroduced the Stop Anti-Abortion Disinformation (SAD) Act, aiming to empower the Federal Trade Commission to regulate anti-abortion centers, often referred to as crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs). CPCs use deceptive practices to mislead patients by denying them information and resources on abortion care, and often spread misinformation about contraception and broader reproductive and sexual health care services. Power to Decide released a statement urging members of Congress to support this legislation and hold CPCs accountable for their harmful actions.
