Survey Says: On a LARC (February 2015)

Nearly all adults age 18-45 say they have all the information they need to avoid an unplanned pregnancy. Almost all say they have heard of birth control pills and condoms and most say they have heard about the most effective methods of contraception (long-acting, reversible contraception or LARC). Even so, among those who have heard of LARC methods, most admit they know little or nothing about low maintenance, highly effective methods of birth control. Just one reason why education about sex and contraception ought not to end when high school does...
