There are several federal funding streams for teen pregnancy prevention education— which total approximately $290 million annually. In addition, funding for Title X helps prevent unplanned pregnancies by offering high-quality contraceptive services, preventive screenings, and information, primarily to low-income individuals. The chart below summarizes current and proposed funding levels through FY 2025.
