Prior to joining Power to Decide, Claudia worked at the National Center for Health Research managing the organization's women's health programs, research, and advocacy efforts. She was responsible for overseeing a research study comparing the effectiveness of tubal ligation, Essure, and IUDs and ensuring that all aspects of the project remained patient-centered. Claudia received her Master of Science degree from Arizona State University, where her graduate work focused on the use and management of federal funding for family planning services in Arizona. She has bachelors degrees in both Biology and Global Health from Arizona State University. Claudia is the Senior Manager, Programs at Power to Decide where she supports programs and initiatives such as Reproductive Well-Being, Innovation Next, and One Key Question.
