Max Carwile is a born and raised East Tennessean who has been working in various ways to increase reproductive health access and decrease stigma since the age of 17. She co-founded a Tennessee abortion fund, Mountain Access Brigade, and during her time at the Tennessee Planned Parenthood affiliates she created a storytelling initiative called the Tennessee Stories Project. She has been screaming from the rooftops about how great Bedsider is since her time as a college activist. Her most recent role prior to Power to Decide was the Programs Director at Abortion Access Front where she worked to support independent abortion providers, expose fake clinics, and build volunteer training programs. In addition, she has over seven years of experience with database administration and finds tremendous comfort in making things as organized as humanly possible.
