Sofia Gonzalez serves as the Public Policy Coordinator at Power to Decide. She helps Power to Decide to achieve its policy goals and supports the Public Policy department. Prior to joining Power to Decide, Sofia worked to advance reproductive rights in her time at NARAL Pro-Choice America. She has also worked to help women and non-binary folks increase their political power through her work at The Broad Room and The Ascend Fund. Most recently, Sofia worked with the digital team at Precision Strategies. 

Sofia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, American Studies, and Political Science from the George Washington University. During her experience at GWU, Sofia spent time researching the history of reproductive coercion in the US and organizing on campus as a leader of the Feminist Student Union. 

A Bronx native, Sofia now lives in Washington, DC, where she can be found doing the crossword or searching for a decent bagel.
