BCBenefits: A Contraceptive Access Fund

In 2019, Power to Decide established BCBenefits, a contraceptive access fund to support people in accessing the birth control method that is right for them. BCBenefits works to alleviate cost barriers of birth control access by providing women living at or up to 250% of the federal poverty level access to:

  • Gas cards, shared ride vouchers, or other transportation off sets to travel safely to necessary appointments.
  • Reimbursement for direct costs of contraception that are not covered by insurance..
  • Coupons for telehealth appointments and a year’s worth of free birth control pills.

We're pausing the BCBenefits programs while we explore the best ways to move forward with supporting access to birth control.
